Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to manage morning and evening cleaning contracts in The West Yorkshire Region. The role is diverse and will include the day-to-day management of cleaning staff across the operating area to ensure that cleaning services are delivered to the highest of standards and in line with our client’s specifications. The Role The successful applicant will be required to: - Manage a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives to deliver a high-quality cleaning operation across numerous sites. - Manage and control the cleaning services in line with the agreed specification. - Recruit staff ensuring all correct paperwork is completed (including D.B.S. if required) - Complete staff inductions and carry out training. - Carry out site inspections, including machinery and stock checks. - Complete quality standard audits - Check and arbitrate time and attendance system. - Carry out disciplinary and Grievance hearings. - Arrange cover for staff’s holidays and sickness. - Liaise with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices. - Carry out risk assessments. - Visit sites and liaise with customers.
