Frequently asked questions
A method statement, sometimes called a safe system of work, sets out step by step how a cleaning task is done safely: the hazards, the precautions, the PPE and equipment needed, and who carries out and supervises the work. It is used to train and brief staff and to show how the controls in your risk assessment are put into practice.
