Schools and academies need cleaning services that support safe, well-managed learning environments. ICS Cleaning provides reliable daily cleaning, periodic cleaning and holiday deep cleans for education sites, with local management teams who understand the rhythm of the school day, safeguarding expectations and the demands of the academic year.
Cleaning in schools is different from cleaning a standard commercial building. Classrooms, corridors, washrooms, dining halls, sports areas, offices and staff spaces all have different usage patterns. A good school cleaning service needs to be structured around pupil movement, term dates, after-school activities, lettings, inspections and seasonal deep cleaning requirements.
ICS supports schools with practical school cleaning services, consistent site teams, planned supervision and regular quality checks. We can provide full daily cleaning contracts, additional holiday deep clean and reset clean support, and help reviewing existing cleaning specifications. Periodic hard-floor care and restoration for corridors and halls, plus commercial carpet cleaning for classrooms, corridors and other carpeted areas, are also available as part of a complete education cleaning contract.
Related Cleaning Services for Schools
Many schools need more than daily classroom cleaning. ICS can also support education sites with education cleaning services, contract cleaning, specialist cleaning, washroom and consumables support, daytime cleaning and planned holiday deep cleans.

Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026 (KCSIE) and school cleaning contractors
Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026 includes specific expectations for schools using contractors, covering contractual safeguarding requirements, appropriate DBS checks, supervision where checks have not been obtained, identity checks on arrival and procedures for concerns involving contracted staff.
Our practical guide explains what these requirements mean when planning or reviewing a school cleaning contract, including relief staff, site access and contractor oversight. The Department for Education guidance remains the authoritative source.
