How to use it
Download
Choose your type of building and download the Excel template. Add your site name if you like.
Upload to your app
Most inspection apps can create a template from an Excel file. Upload it as it is, then check the response types and add any actions, for example when an item is Poor.
Audit and score
Walk each area and score every check. The score, pass or fail and sign-off sit at the end.
Smart cleaning scoring
Items cleaned every day are judged on completion. Items cleaned less often are judged against the between-cleans standard, unless the audit falls on their cleaning day, so nothing is marked Poor on a day it wasn't due. Critical hygiene items, such as toilets, sanitary fittings and food areas, count double, and a Poor on any of them needs action the same day.

Questions
One row per check, set out by area: the item to check, the response (Good, Acceptable, Poor or N/A), what Good looks like, which standard to score against, a weight, whether it is critical and how often the item is cleaned. It starts with the audit details and ends with a summary, a score and sign-off.
